Introducing the 2025 Cadillac CT5-V

2025 Cadillac CT5-V parked on the side of the road

The 2025 Cadillac CT5-V builds on the greatness of the original CT5 sedan with sport-tuned engineering and performance metrics. If you want an urban-friendly model with the heart of a race car and everyday practical features, the CT5-V is the way to go.

The CT5-V has three powertrain options to choose from. On the entry-level V-Series, the standalone engine option is a 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged V6 with an output of 360 horsepower and 405 lb-ft of torque. A 10-speed automatic transmission with Electronic Precision Shift and automatic engine start/stop technology is standard to ensure this sports sedan is ready for urban and suburban traffic environments.

The second engine is exclusive to the V-Series Blackwing, which is available only with a rear-wheel drivetrain to provide sporty handling. The 6.2-liter supercharged V8 DI engine can be paired with a six-speed manual or a 10-speed automatic transmission. This engine produces 668 horsepower and 659 lb-ft of torque.

Mechanical Features

One of the mechanical highlights of the CT5-V is Magnetic Ride Control, a specialized part of the suspension system that controls the body motion of the vehicle and continually scans the road to adjust the damping degree in roughly five milliseconds. A performance-tuned suspension and traction management system maximize vehicle responsiveness.

The Performance Traction Management system has five control modes for different track driving environments, while the Drive Mode Selector allows drivers to choose from My Mode, V-Mode, Tour, Sport, Track, and Snow/Ice driving modes for tailored vehicle performance.

Exterior Features

The CT5-V comes with 19-inch aluminum alloy wheels, which are paired with 19-inch run-flat summer tires. These tires can drive up to 60 miles after a puncture so you can reach your dealership for tire service.

Along with automatic headlights with courtesy delay and software to detect when you enter a tunnel, this sports sedan has LED front lamp turn signals that automatically turn on the cornering lights so you can see road obstructions when you change lanes.

Interior Features

This model has an advanced infotainment system with Google Built-In technology and natural voice recognition housed in a 33-inch central display. With Google Built-In technology, you can use Google Maps for navigation, enjoy personalized driver profiles with predictive Google technology, and much more. A 15-speaker AKG Premium audio system is also standard.

The cabin features power-adjustable front seats with manually adjustable cushion extension and four-way power lumbar support. The front-row seats have a lumbar massage feature, along with three-stage heating for maximum comfort on long trips. Alloy sport medals and a leather-wrapped Super Cruise steering wheel with an integrated driver attention monitor system are also standard.

The sporty CT5-V delivers a high-powered driving experience with advanced performance-tuned engineering and thoughtful amenities. Call AutoNation Cadillac West Amarillo in Amarillo, TX to discuss financing deals.

2027 Cadillac VISTIQ vs. OPTIQ: Two Different Takes on the Electric SUV

The 2027 Cadillac OPTIQ and VISTIQ share a design language and much of Cadillac's current technology, yet their proportions tell you almost immediately that they were created for different jobs. The OPTIQ is a 5-passenger SUV with a smaller footprint and up to 317 miles of EPA-estimated range. VISTIQ stretches the idea into a 3-row vehicle for up to 7, with considerably more cargo capacity and standard dual-motor AWD. For West Amarillo, TX, drivers, choosing between them begins with something simple: how much vehicle do you need? OPTIQ Keeps the Package Compact The 2027 OPTIQ uses its smaller dimensions to create a 5-passenger electric SUV without giving up substantial cargo capacity. Fold the rear seats and maximum cargo volume reaches 57 cu. ft. Standard single-motor RWD provides an EPA-estimated 317 miles of range, while available dual-motor AWD produces a Cadillac-estimated 440 hp and carries a 303-mile EPA estimate. Luxury, Premium Luxury, Sport, and Premium Sport make up the core range. A 33-inch Horizon Display™, Google built-in, 19-speaker AKG™ Studio Audio System, SkyGlass™ roof, native NACS charging port, and Super Cruise® with a 3-year OnStar® One plan is standard, so the smaller Cadillac doesn't feel like the lesser-equipped one. OPTIQ-V Changes the Character, Not the Basic Package OPTIQ-V adopts the same basic 5-passenger concept and gives it a much sharper mechanical personality. Its dual-motor AWD system develops a Cadillac-estimated 519 hp and 650 lbs. ft. of torque in Velocity Max, with Cadillac estimating 0–60 mph in 3.5 seconds. EPA-estimated range is 278 miles. More significant than acceleration alone are the V-Series chassis tuning and Brembo® brakes, because performance should involve more than fitting stronger motors to an existing shape. OPTIQ-V keeps the smaller proportions while giving the chassis a more specialized role. VISTIQ Uses Its Size for 3-Row Flexibility 2027 VISTIQ is a different proposition. It seats up to 7 with a second-row bench or 6 with available captain's chairs and provides 15.2 cu. ft. of cargo room behind the third row, 43.0 cu. ft. behind the second, and 80.2 cu. ft. with both rear rows folded. Those numbers reveal the reason for its larger body: it has been packaged around people and luggage that simply wouldn't fit into the OPTIQ in the same combination. Dual-motor AWD is standard, producing a Cadillac-estimated 615 hp and 650 lbs. ft. of torque in Velocity Max. Cadillac estimates 0–60 mph in 3.7 seconds, an intriguing figure for something carrying 3 rows of seats. Range and Charging Reveal Different Priorities OPTIQ has the advantage in maximum range, reaching an EPA-estimated 317 miles with RWD or 303 miles with available AWD. VISTIQ reaches an EPA-estimated 305 miles with its standard 11.5-kW onboard AC charging module. Its DC fast-charging system can add up to 80 miles of range in approximately 10 minutes under appropriate conditions, while a native NACS charging port is standard. VISTIQ can also tow up to 5,000 lbs. when properly equipped, giving its larger proportions another functional justification. Both Begin with a High Technology Baseline Both SUVs feature a 33-inch Horizon Display™, Google built-in, native NACS charging, wireless phone charging, and standard Super Cruise®. VISTIQ expands the cabin brief with a 23-speaker AKG™ Studio Audio System, 5-zone climate control, heated and ventilated massaging front seats, heated second-row outboard seats, and 7 USB-C ports. Those additions fit its role as the larger family-oriented vehicle, especially when passengers are distributed across 3 rows. Compare Cadillac EVs at AutoNation Cadillac West Amarillo The OPTIQ makes the stronger case for drivers who need 5 seats, substantial range, and a more compact package, while OPTIQ-V applies a performance chassis to that same basic footprint. VISTIQ uses its additional size for 3-row seating, 80.2 cu. ft. of maximum cargo capacity, standard AWD, and available 5,000 lb. towing capability. What Makes the 2026 Cadillac Escalade IQ Different from Other Luxury EVs?

When you’re on the market for a premium SUV, you turn to Cadillac—and most are focused on the iconic Escalade. So, when you're shopping for a premium electric SUV, the 2026 Cadillac Escalade IQ sets itself apart, different from any other luxury EV on the market. But why is it different? For West Amarillo, Texas drivers who are increasingly drawn to vehicles that combine full-size capability, cutting-edge technology, and impressive electric range, the Escalade IQ delivers all 3 in a package that was built from the ground up as an EV—not simply adapted from an existing gas-powered platform. That distinction matters more than it might seem. By designing the Escalade IQ on a dedicated electric architecture, Cadillac was able to optimize everything from battery placement to interior proportions, resulting in a vehicle that feels purposefully electric in every way, while maintaining a legendary look and accommodations. Top-Tier Range That Stands Above the Rest One of the clearest answers to what makes the 2026 Cadillac Escalade IQ different from other luxury EVs is its jaw-dropping range—a Cadillac-estimated 465 miles on a full charge. That figure positions it as the longest-range all-electric SUV currently available. For everyday commuters, that could mean going a full week or more between charges. For road-trip enthusiasts, it translates to real-world flexibility without the anxiety of frequent charging stops. When a charge is needed, the Escalade IQ supports up to 350 kW of DC fast charging, which can add approximately 117 miles of range in 10 minutes. Level 2 home charging options are also available, with the Premium Luxury and Premium Sport trims supporting up to 19.2 kW for faster overnight top-offs. Technology That Takes Your Breath Away Step inside and it’s immediately obvious what makes the 2026 Cadillac Escalade IQ different from other luxury EVs. The expansive curved 55” Horizon Display™ spans the full width of the front row, merging the driver information cluster and infotainment system into one seamless interface. There’s no analog cluster, no separate screen, just one expansive digital surface that puts everything within easy view. Every Escalade IQ also comes standard with Super Cruise®, Cadillac's hands-free driver assistance technology. Using high-precision GPS, a Driver Attention System, and LiDAR map data, Super Cruise enables compatible hands-free driving on mapped roads across North America. A 3-year OnStar® One plan is included with each vehicle. The Escalade IQ also features Google built-in, which replaces Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ with a fully integrated native experience. Google Maps, voice-command Google Assistant, and the Google Play store are all built directly into the vehicle, operating independently of any connected phone. Luxury, Comfort, and Capable Performance The 2026 Cadillac Escalade IQ offers seating for 7 passengers across 3 rows, with available features like ambient lighting and massage front seats with power bolsters on upper trims. Standard heated and ventilated front seats, a heated steering wheel, and heated 2 nd -row seats ensure comfort in every season. the Executive 2 nd Row Package upgrades with heated, ventilated, massaging captain’s chairs, individual touchscreens, dual wireless charging pads, fold-out tray tables, and headrest-integrated speakers. That’s just a sampling of what this interior offers. All this and the Escalade IQ delivers up to 750 hp in Velocity Max mode, enabling a Cadillac-estimated 0-to-60 time of 4.7 seconds. Air Ride Adaptive Suspension and Magnetic Ride Control™ keep the ride composed, while 4-Wheel Steer with Cadillac Arrival Mode makes maneuvering a vehicle of this size feel far more manageable.
